You will soon realize that every bike has specifics for which you might need some help. Many of us send our motorcycle for maintenance to the closest dealer only to get a shock from the service price. We all know motorcycles are expensive to maintain and cheap to ride. With a manual and some basic knowledge anybody can do essential maintenance on a motorcycle.

Of course your motorcycle is delivered with an owners manual which isn't the same as a repair manual. The difference is that an owners manual will explain the bike (and what specific oils, tires, batteries etc to use) where a repair manual will actually tell you what to do.

Additionally I also like the fact that a good repair manual will give you very detailed pictures of how components are fixed within your motorcycle. This avoids pulling of the working things or breaking other parts.
