Day 1 Orlando - St. Augustine (122 miles / 196 km)
Head out with your motorcycle and steer for Daytona Beach, the Mecca of every real biker. Visit Harley Davidson of Daytona, Main Street and the famous Boot Hill Saloon. In the afternoon push on along the Atlantic coast to St. Augustine, one of the oldest towns of the USA.
Day 2 St. Augustine - Savannah (206 miles / 330 km)
From St. Augustine carry on north and you will soon cross the state border of Georgia. In the late afternoon reach the harbour city of Savannah, where spend the night in the characteristic Historic District.
Day 3 Savannah - Toccoa (258 miles / 330 km)
Today head on through the deep south in north-western direction. The plains along the coast slowly make way for a somewhat more rolling country. You and your motorcycle stay in Toccoa.
Day 4 Toccoa - Gatlinburg (170 miles / 272 km)
The border area between Georgia and Tennessee is fascinating. Exhilarating challenging curves through a woody area. Take a break in Cherokee (beware of the Indians) and ride straight through the Great Smoky Mountains to Gatlinburg, your home for the night.
Day 5 Gatlinburg - Nashville (261 miles / 418 km)
On this 5th day too, your road will be largely flanked by a woody scenery and the twisty road ensures a spectacular ride. Arrive in Nashville early and have enough time to visit Music Row with its famous RCA studios and the Country Hall of Fame. End up parting downtown.
Day 6 Nashville - Memphis (263 miles / 421 km)
Today the Natchez Trace Parkway takes you to the capitol of blues, Memphis. Naturally visit Beale Street, where you'll find great places like the Rum Boogy Cafe and B.B. King's Cafe.
Day 7 Memphis (0 miles / 0 km)
Don’t forget to visit the former residence of The King, Elvis Presley and/or see Sun Studio, where Sam Philips discovered Elvis' talent.
Day 8 Memphis - Vicksburg (266 miles / 427 km)
On this day follow the mother of all rivers, The Mississippi River which, with its irregular winds, separates the states of Tennessee and Arkansas. Through Clarksdale (visit the Delta Blues Museum) reach Vicksburg in the late afternoon.
Day 9 Vicksburg - New Orleans (213 miles / 341 km)
From Vicksburg, the Mississippi Delta finally takes you to the state of Louisiana. The 30 mile long bridge over Lake Ponchartrain (open depending on the weather) marks a day that ends right in the centre of the swinging French Quarter of New Orleans.
Day 10 New Orleans (0 miles)
Take plenty of time to explore New Orleans inside and out. A trip on a radar boat or visit a Plantation House just outside New Orleans. It's all equally interesting. However in the evening, a visit to Bourbon Street is definitely a must. This place is literally crammed with lively bars and good restaurants.
Day 11 New Orleans - Destin (262 miles / 420 km)
From New Orleans head out in an easterly direction and just before leaving the state of Louisiana remember to make a boat trip through the swamps. Alligators will actually swim beside your boat. Along the Gulf of Mexico, onwards through the states of Mississippi and Alabama to Destin in Florida.
Day 12 Destin - Perry (243 miles / 389 km)
The first leg of today's route is along the coastline. Then leave the Gulf of Mexico for a ride through Apalachicola National Forest. Stay in Perry.
Day 13 Perry - Orlando (217 miles / 348 km)
The tour will end with a ride through the Ocala National Forest. Arrive in Orlando in the late afternoon. Naturally, end your vacation in downtown Orlando with a fun night out.
